Overview:

Under close supervision, the Patient Safety Attendant provides continuous patient observation to ensure their comfort and safety. This role is a flex, as needed position based in Mountain Home, Idaho

What to Expect:

  • Observes patients who are at risk for adverse events (falls, self-injury, harm to others).

  • Follows the plan of care for the patient and keeps the assigned patient under continuous observation at all times.

  • Reports patient needs and changes in the patient’s behavior to appropriate health care team member.

  • Maintains a safe environment for patient and utilizes safety equipment.

  • Serves as a companion to patient and communicates the patient’s needs.
