St. Luke's Health System Athletic Trainer Clinic 2 in Boise, Idaho

Overview

What You Can Expect:

  • Assists in the OR (Resident Trained Only), including but not limited to: assist with positioning and draping; apply routine dressings; hold retractors; hold scope; suction; irrigation; suturing.

  • Communicate and educate patients on plan of care, such as inquiries about treatments, therapies, pre

  • and post-operative care and expected outcomes.

  • Administrative/clerical responsibilities necessary for effective and efficient clinic flow.

  • Mentor and manage on site education of students enrolled in University-based athletic training education programs or any other healthcare professionals.

  • Provide direct patient care through clinical evaluation, physical exam, and treatment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor Degree and completion of an accredited Athletic Trainer Residency Program

  • Licenses/Certifications: Licensed as a Certified Athletic Trainer in the state of practice. Board of Certification (BOC) certified. Current CPR certification.
